Motion detection
You can programme routines in the Niko Home app. These are rules to launch a range of actions, such as automatic activation of lamps or devices when movement is detected.
How do you develop a motion detection?
- Install a motion detector and connect it to your Niko Home Control installation.
- Select the devices that you want to switch on.
- Determine how long the device should remain turned on before automatically switching off again.
What to look out for?
- Any light point that you wish to activate with this routine must be connected to one connected switch or dimmer.
- If you also wish to switch off (domestic) appliances or atmospheric lamps (for example, standing lamps) with this routine, you must connect them to a connected switching socket outlet or smart plug.
