Connected switching socket outlet
A connected switching Zigbee® socket outlet has a switching contact allowing you to switch the socket outlet on and off. This socket outlet also contains a transmitter and receiver for wireless communication with the wireless smart hub.
In addition, a connected switching socket outlet has an internal overload protection and overheating protection. This means that the socket outlet switches itself off automatically in the case of excess consumption or overheating.
You can use the connected switching socket outlet to replace a traditional socket outlet . As such, you can use the device to which it is connected in a routine. Then, you can also monitor the device's consumption, since this socket outlet includes a built-in consumption meter.
Note: The connected switching socket outlet does not have extension terminals. You can connect traditional socket outlets in parallel, however, you cannot control these with Niko Home Control.
You finish the connected switching socket outlet with a central plate and a finishing set.
Here you can see an example of a finishing set with a transparent push button which displays the LED status. These components are also available in other variations and colours.
