Insight into energy consumption
How do you measure the energy consumption of a device?
- Install a connected switching socket outlet or smart plug and connect this to your Niko Home Control installation.
- Open the navigation tab Energy in order to consult your energy consumption.
- View your global energy consumption or see the consumption for each device.
For each connected switching socket outlet or smart plug you can see the following information:
- Historical day, week, month and year consumption (in kWh)
- The aggregate value of the total consumption (in kWh)
- Real-time consumption (in W or kW)
What to look out for?
- You need a digital meter and you must connect this to your wireless smart hub. To do so, use the online instruction manual for the energy kit.
