Yes, you can visualise the measured temperature and/or humidity on the Digital black.

In order to avoid the measurements from the digital meter and the measuring module being added together, you can use the NHC programming software to adjust the "measurement type" parameter to "sub-measurement" for this measuring module.

When facing onboarding problems, check for WiFi amplifiers. If WiFi amplifiers are in the installation they need to be disconnected. The smart hub can only connect to a visible wifi network after a reboot or power cycle. Please make your wifi network (SSID) visible. The smart hub should automatically reconnect to the wifi network after a few minutes.

The safety screw at the bottom of the display may be blocking the clicking mechanism. Please verify that the safety screw has been screwed tightly in the UNLOCK position (see step d in the manual, but turn the screw completely to the right (fully in) to make it possible to mount the display before locking it by turning to the left (max 4 turns)).

The pins can become damaged if the display has been mounted in the wrong way onto the mounting bracket. Make sure to lower the display onto the two protruding supports at the top of the mounting bracket (1 a) before clicking the bottom of the display into the mounting bracket (2).

Unfortunately, the Netgear Orbi RBR50 mesh router is not compatible with the Digital black. Other Netgear Orbi routers do not pose this problem.

The Digital black 24 V has the same functionality as the Niko Home Control thermostat (550-1305x). As a consequence, the programming in the Niko Home Control programming software is also similar to the programming of the Niko Home Control thermostat.

Both tools do not prevent simultaneous programming of your Niko Home Control system for traditional wiring. We strongly recommend only using one tool at the time to programme your system.

Yes, the Digital black 24 V is compatible with both Niko Home Control systems (traditional wiring and bus wiring).

Outputs wired to a Digital black cannot be used in a presence simulation. Niko is working on an update to make this feature available as soon as possible.

The Niko Home app shows the wrong calibration value (21.5 °C), but the Digital Black does not apply this calibration. This is a known issue that will be fixed soon.

With the latest version of the Niko Home app, you can configure the Digital black. To configure this device, the app needs access to your location. Check your app settings and try again to install the app.

When replacing an existing Easywave# device with a Zigbee® control, it is important to verify that the wireless distance to another Zigbee® device does not exceed 10 m. We recommend measuring and testing the maximum wireless range before final installation.
