What you need to know in order to install Niko Home Control?
- You understand the operation and possibilities of the Niko Home Control installation for traditional wiring (the eco system) and know the possibilities of each connected product.
- You understand that the products for Niko Home Control for traditional wiring must be installed in accordance with the national regulations for traditional wiring.

What do you need when installing Niko Home Control?
- You have a modern electrical installation with three or five wires (phase, neutral conductor, earthing and possibly switching wires) with a cross-section of 1.5 or 2.5 mm2. This is usually the case in houses built as from 1985. To install a connected switch there needs to be a neutral conductor in the flush-mounting box. This is not necessary for a connected dimmer.
- You have an Internet network at home. You can modify the switching without internet, however, you cannot register the wireless smart hub and you cannot program the installation in the Niko Home app.
- You have additional wiring (three or more colours), connection terminals, a wire stripper and a screwdriver at the ready .
