Presence simulation

You can programme routines in the Niko Home app. These are rules to launch a range of actions, such as presence simulation when you're not at home .

How do you design presence simulation?

  1. Select the control point with which you wish to command the presence simulation routine.

  2. Select a light sensitivity sensor if required.

  3. Select the devices that you want to switch on in the morning.

  4. Select the devices that you want to switch on in the daytime.

  5. Select the devices that you want to switch on in the evening.

  6. Select the devices that you want to switch on late in the evening.

  7. Select the devices that you want to switch on at night.

What to look out for?

  • All light points and all roll-down shutters that you wish to connect with this routine must be connected to one connected switch, dimmer or motor control .

  • If you also wish to switch on (domestic) appliances or atmospheric lamps (for example, standing lamps) with this routine, you must connect them to a connected switching socket outlet or smart plug.
