This product consists of several components. Below you will find an overview of all the component parts.
Base for roll-down shutter switch, electrically separated, 10 AX/250 Vac, plug-in terminals
Reference code170-05905Mechanism for a switch to control your roller blinds, with claw fixing. This roll-down shutter switch is electrically separated. A finishing set and faceplate in the colour of your choice must be ordered separately.
This switch is used for controlling the motors of roll-down shutters, garage ports, venetian blinds and awnings via a bistable control (selection rotary direction-START-STOP).
Select the rotary direction on the right-hand key and subsequently press 'START' to activate the motor. No need to stay near the switch while the motor is running to the end-run position.
To change the rotary direction, first press 'STOP' at the top of the left-hand key, then select the new rotary direction on the right-hand key and subsequently press 'START' at the bottom of the left-hand key. This control is suitable for motors whose rotary direction is not to be changed frequently, and that does not require you to wait until the motor has reached its end-run position. This type of switch allows the motor capacitors to discharge, avoiding the end-run switches to stick.

Connected switching socket outlet with pin earthing and shutters, Zigbee®
The connected switching socket outlet communicates wirelessly with the wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control (552-00001). This device can also be used in a bus wiring installation with the wireless bridge for Niko Home Control (550-00640). In combination with the smart hub or wireless bridge, it can be connected to a wireless switch without additional wiring. Moreover, the plugged-in device can be linked to handy routines such as an all-off/all-on function or calendar functions and controlled remotely via the Niko Home app. In addition, its built-in consumption measurement helps you to save energy as you can consult the plugged-in device’s energy data via the Niko Home app. Use the connected switching socket outlet within the routines ‘peak mode’ and ‘solar mode’ to optimise your energy production and consumption. Note that it can also be used stand-alone as a conventional socket outlet. It is fitted with a standard built-in overtemperature and overcurrent protection to ensure complete safety.
Digital black, connected customisable control screen, 230 V
Digital black is a customisable control screen for Niko Home Control with an extremely user-friendly interface with clear symbols. The screen is automatically activated when your hand comes near. When there is no Niko Home Control installation available, the built-in switching contact can be controlled via the touchscreen or an N.O. push-button extension (170-X00XX). When the connection to a Niko Home Control installation has been made, it becomes possible to switch or dim your lights, set scenes, set ventilation modes and adjust blinds and sunblinds to the desired position in one operation. In short, all possible Niko Home Control control types are available. Do you have an active connection with one of our heating partners? Then you can easily set the temperature with the Digital black. With the Niko Home app you can choose which controls are displayed or where they are displayed on the screen, but also the way you navigate through your control screens. You can download this app for free in the App store or the Google Play store. Digital black can be easily mounted in any standard flush-mounting box using the familiar claw or screw fixing and is powered on 230 Vac (L- + N-wire required). This 230 Vac variant is equipped with a switching contact 10 A (resistive), meaning that it can easily be replaced with a conventional single-pole switch. In combination with the wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control (552-00001) and additional controls from the Niko Home Control range for traditional wiring, you can easily add automation to your conventional installation. The screen communicates via your Wi-Fi network with the rest of your Niko Home Control system. You need an active internet connection to activate Digital black. This internet connection ensures that your Digital black and Niko Home Control installation are always up-to-date and have the most recent functionalities.
