Dimming

Dimmers control the intensity of your lighting. You will always have the right atmosphere at home. By turning the lighting to its full strength when working at home during the evenings, for example. Or choosing a softer lighting when having dinner with friends.

For every type of lamp there is a dimmer. In our range of dimmer inserts you will find the rotary button and push button dimmers for all kinds of lamps (glow and halogen lamps, fluorescent lamps, energy saving lamps …), but also a universal dimmer for every kind of lamp. You want to dim high powers? From the modular dimmers, choose the direct connection in the electrical cabinet.

With a Niko dimmer you can have stable lighting without disturbing any other appliances. In case of overload, the safety function automatically kicks in.

DALI rotary dimmer

This DALI rotary control is used to control DALI controlled light luminaires. The dimmer can be set to control fifteen DALI groups separately or set in broadcast mode, to control all DALI controlled devices simultaneously. This dimmer is not equipped with a built-in power supply for the DALI bus (you can use the external Niko power supply 350-70985 or DALI DIN rail bus power supply 67-710). The rotary dimmer can also be used in combination with the Niko DALI addressable detectors to manually dim the light. It is possible to manually change the dimming speed (the so-called fade rate) – without the use of a PC.

Speed regulator for motors (ventilation)

Universal modular dimmer PLC interference suppression 5 – 350 W

Dimmer for all types of lamps: dimmable LED lamps, 230 V halogen lamps, all types of low-voltage halogen lamps, dimmable economy lamps and incandescent lamps. Control via an N.O. push button (230 Vac or 8 – 24 Vac/Vdc). Use with or without memory function, staircase function or all-off function.

Universal modular dimmer PLC interference suppression 5 – 350 W, analogue

Dimmer for all types of lamps: dimmable LED lamps, 230 V halogen lamps, all types of low-voltage halogen lamps, dimmable economy lamps and incandescent lamps. 0 – 10 V control or 1 – 10 V current control.

Dimmer for systems with 1 – 10 V current control

Dimmer for switching and controlling dimmable electronic control gear (ECG) for fluorescent lighting, compact fluorescent lighting and dimmable LED lighting. Control via a voltage-free N.O. push button, 0 – 10 V voltage control or directly on the device. Up to 30 N.O. push buttons in parallel. Use with or without memory function. Additional memory for saving one atmosphere via push button control. Panic function: as long as this function is activated, the lighting is illuminated at its maximum. Indication LEDs for the operation and feedback on errors.

LED compensator

The LED compensator is used with LED lamps when lamp flicker is seen with a 2-wire dimmer. Please note: PLC interference effects that cause flicker symptoms in certain EU countries, will not be blocked by this product. You can also use the LED compensator as a load to the connected dimmer (55X-722X1) to complete the commissioning with the wireless smart hub for Niko Home Control (552-00001). It will remove afterglow with lamps or reduce switching delays between led drivers in a light circuit. One or more LED compensators are installed parallel over a LED lamp, between the phase wire and the neutral wire.

Fuse holder for modular dimmer

Electronic precharge

The electronic precharge replaces the classic ohmic load and can be easily flush mounted due to the extremely compact housing made of heat-resistant, thermoplastic material. It is safe in all flush-mounting circumstances due to a heating of merely 35 °C higher than the ambient temperature. The electronic precharge is up to 56 % cooler than the normal solutions based on resistances (54% energy-saving compared to the classic ohmic load). It has to be connected in parallel to the primary circuit of the load.

Protective cap for paintwork

The protective cap is always placed over a mechanism equipped with a finishing set. It is suitable for the Niko Pure, Niko Intense and Niko Original series.

Rotary switch for motors, 3 speeds (0-1-2 and 1-2-3), 20 A

Rotary switch for motors, 3 speeds (1-0-2), 25 A

Also suitable for use with roll-down shutters if the finishing set XXX-65926 will be used.

LED lighting unit with wires for switches and push buttons

This LED lighting unit is equipped with a wire connection and is used for illuminating switches and push buttons.

Led lighting elements

The LED lighting element with automatic connection has a signalling function when combined with a single-pole switch, a two-way or intermediate switch, an N.O. push button or an N.O. or N.C. push button. In combination with a two-pole switch, this LED lighting element with automatic connection has a control function.
