This video kit contains: • External video unit, 2-wire, surface-mounted, one button • Access control module, 2-wire, with integrated power supply • Internal video unit for 2-wire-based access control systems This compact external video unit is equipped with an HD colour camera, microphone and loudspeaker. The camera with integrated infrared LEDs guarantees better visibility at night (razor-sharp black and white image). You can personalise the unit with a nameplate (optionally in engravable PMMA plastic). The internal unit offers outstanding image and sound quality and allows hands-free communication with the visitor. The internal unit is equipped with a flat touch-sensitive screen, which enhances its styling and ease-of-maintenance. The door locks can be connected to the access control module (recommended) or directly to the external unit. You can register your external video unit via the Niko access control app (Android or iOS) to enable control of the installation via your smartphone. Make sure your access control module is connected to your network router to receive calls in the app and software updates for your installation. Compact 2-wire external video unit

This compact external video unit is equipped with an HD colour camera, microphone and loudspeaker. The camera with integrated infrared LEDs provides better visibility at night (razor-sharp black and white image). You can personalise the unit with a nameplate (optionally in engravable PMMA plastic). The maintenance-free push-button contacts guarantee a long lifespan. The door locks can be connected to the access control module (recommended) or directly to the external video unit. You can receive calls from your external video unit on your smartphone via the Niko access control app (Android or iOS). This external video unit requires the access control module (510-21400) to supply its power. Complete your access control system with the internal video unit (510-50000).

Internal video unit 2-wire

This wall-mounted touchscreen allows you to communicate with callers at your door through a built-in microphone and speakers. See who is calling and unlock the door. Use the 'Peek outside' functionality to look outside whenever you want. Missed calls? A feedback LED notifies you of any unanswered calls. Check your call history of short video snippets to see who wanted to visit you. The internal video unit is easy to install and configure. The internal video unit can only be used in combination with the access control module (510-21400) and one or maximum two 2-wire external video unit(s) (510-31001).

Access control module 2-wired

The DIN-rail access control module is the central module of the 2-wire Niko access control installation. It directly connects the external video unit(s) with the touchscreen(s) and/or the internet for use via the Niko access control app. The power supply module provides an input voltage of 24 Vdc to the bus. The DIN-rail controller can be connected to five internal video units (510-50000) and two external video units (510-31001). It is connected to the internet using a UTP cable to the router. This allows the user to control the installation both indoors and outdoors (via mobile networks such as 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi) via smartphone (Android or iOS) and ensures time stamps for all connected internal and external video units. The chime and door locks can be connected to the access control module (recommended). The module has a RESET button to restart all connected devices. Each installation must consist of one access control module. You can register your external video unit via the Niko access control app (Android or iOS) to enable control of the installation via your smartphone. Make sure your access control module is connected to your network router to receive calls in the app and software updates for your installation.

App for receiving video calls from your Niko access control external video unit

This app allows you to receive calls from your Niko access control external video unit, to see who is ringing the doorbell and to have a conversation with your visitor wherever you are. With the peek outside functionality you can see the visitor before unlocking the door. What do you need? Please make sure your access control system and smartphone are both connected to the internet. With this app you can immediately receive calls after completing the installation process. Niko Access Control is available in several European languages. Powerline tool for Windows

With this software you can change the default communication channel of your Niko 2-wire IP digital access control system. This is only recommended if you have powerline devices in your home (such as Wi-Fi network adapters) and your access control system is not working properly even after resetting and upgrading. Typical issues that can be resolved by using the Powerline tool include the following: • The access control system fails after a power outage, while before it was working correctly • The internal video unit shows the following error message: “no external video unit detected” • The internal video unit does no longer receive the incoming calls
