Niko Home Control API - How do I get access to the Hobby API?

The Hobby API is available locally in the home via the connected controller for Niko Home Control II or the wireless smart hub. The Hobby API is secure and works with an authentication token.

You can request the token:

For Niko Home Control software versions older than 2.17:

on the web portal: You can click on the Connected services button and select the Hobby API in the overview of all services. Follow the further instructions on your screen.

For Niko Home Control software versions starting from 2.17:

Via the Niko Home Control Programming software: Open it and connect to your connected controller or wireless smart hub. Select the hobby API in overview of the connected services at the dashboard tab and follow the instructions.

Please note: Your Niko Home Control system requires an active Internet connection.
