Niko Home Control for traditional wiring - Which electrical installation do I need to be able to use Niko Home Control for traditional wiring?
In most homes with a standard electrical installation, you can install Niko Home Control for traditional wiring. The connected single switch, connected dual switch and the connected motor control are connected 3-wire. Three-wire cabling is standard in most Belgian homes built after 1991.
In Belgian homes built before 1991, and in many homes in the Netherlands, you generally find 2-wire control without a neutral conductor. In that case, you can also use a connected dimmer.
The wireless motion detector is powered by batteries and can be installed in any Niko Home Control installation for traditional wiring.
