Niko Access Control - Digital - Is the system software updated automatically? If not, what should I do?

The system software is not updated automatically.

If a software update is available, a green dot appears in the upper right corner of the 2-wire internal video unit(s) as well as on the App screen. Beside this green dot a text is shown: “upgrade available”. There you can click to upgrade the system software.

To update your 2-wire internal video unit’s software, please make sure that the system is connected to the internet.

Warning: during the update, the system power MUST remain on, any power cut during upgrade can damage the system.
During the update process, all devices are unreachable.
